    Key Features

    • Attaches to a skid steer, track loader, or any other machine that is equipped with the Universal Quick 'Tach mounting system.
    • Tool head weighs 325 lbs.  The Rail Tool with the Double Cylinder Rotating Base weighs 764 lbs.
    • Rotates 127° to the operator's left with the EZ Spot UR Double Cylinder Rotating Base.
    • Can also be attached to an EZ Spot UR Fixed Non-Rotating Base.
    • Jaws will open to 14.5 inches and close completely down to 0 inches.
    • Rated for 1000 lbs.
    • Composed of Grade 80 steel or higher to withstand years of wear and tear.

    Equipment Specifications

    •  One 3" x 6" hydraulic clamp cylinder confidently opens and closes the jaws while ensuring a solid grip throughout.  The cylinder has a breakout force of 21,206 lbs.
    • The front of the closed upper jaw is flat for pushing railroad ties back under the track.
    • Extended receiver gives the Rail Tool a 5 ft. reach.
    • Comes complete with hoses, flush faced couplers, spring hose mount, and wiring harness.
    • Can be adapted to fit excavators, wheel loaders, telehandlers, and backhoes with a special bolt-on mount.

    Product Description and Applications

    The EZ Spot UR Rail Tool is used to pull out old railroad ties from under the tracks and replace them with new ones.  The front of the upper jaw is flat when closed for pushing the new railroad tie into place.  The jaws open up to 14.5".  The 3" x 6" clamp cylinder has a breakout force of 21,206 lbs to provide adequate clamping pressure when pulling out the railroad ties.  The pointed jaws provide superior grip.  The Rail Tool is rated for 1000 lbs to handle the heaviest railroad ties.  The 5 foot reach makes it easy to pick up railroad ties from a pile and place them accurately.  The compact design allows you to move from site to site quickly and get the job done fast.  Save time, money, and labor with the EZ Spot UR Rail Tool!
